Licensed Professional Counselor
ABOUT
Therapist, Marriage Counselor

About

I believe in a collaborative healing approach. Together, we identify areas of concern and develop strategies for change. I believe in exploring the underlying causes of our struggles. My approach is varied, taking and blending techniques from a variety of sources, rather than relying on a single system of intervention. I strive to create a safe, non-judging environment for you to explore your world in an authentic way.

I earned a MA in Counseling at Regis University, as well as an MBA and MS from the University of Colorado.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Colorado.

My office is located at I-25 and Colorado Boulevard.

Individual Therapy

Recognizing the need for change can be exciting. The path forward is sometimes unclear, and at times, overwhelming. Together, we will develop a plan for the change you desire. Over time, this change can become long-lasting, and transformative.

Couples Counseling

We all bring our personal history and experience to relationship. I believe that sharing this story with your partner in different ways can reveal a deeper level of understanding and intimacy. A new way of relating announces itself; revealing entirely new possibilities in your relationship.

TESTIMONIALS

"I am so grateful that my husband and I were referred to Dan when we were searching for a couple's counselor. He is a truly gifted therapist, and he has helped me so much personally as well as improving my marriage. My husband and I have recommended Dan to many of our friends, and we will continue doing so."

"I would recommend Dan as a therapist to anyone seeking out this kind of help. I began working with Dan several years ago when I was in the midst of many difficult life changes, including entering graduate school and transitioning out of an old job/career. This was a time of great strife, even fear for me, so it was truly important that I felt safe and genuinely cared for within the therapeutic process. Dan was incredibly kind, empathetic, grounded, and refreshingly human --- creating a therapeutic environment where trust and true healing could take place. I came out of therapy with a newfound hope and confidence in myself as a student, professional, and person. I’m forever grateful."

"My husband and I started to see Dan after our first child. There were many changes and stresses in our life at the time and it was taking a big toll on our relationship. Dan helped us understand what each of us could be doing differently to make our relationship more successful and happier. We really appreciated Dan's approach to our situation and his patience while working with us. We feel very lucky to have someone we both connected with to help us through the difficult times. We now have two children, are much happier in our relationship, as well as our personal and professional lives. We owe a lot of the happiness and success to Dan."

- Stacy L., Denver, CO

"I have been meeting with Dan for about a year now. I can tell you that my experience as a client of Dan's has been nothing but positive. Dan has helped me to become the best person that I can be and with his help and guidance I am the happiest and healthiest I have ever been."
